順便提醒一下樓主及其他有自排變速箱的RODEO與TROOPER車主, 一定要用對自排變速箱油, 不是一般的ATF, 一定要用有標示G-34318許可等級的 Dexron III.....你用對油了嗎?

ISUZU所用的4L30E變速箱短命是眾所皆知,真的是變速箱體質不好嗎?相信各位車友也都很瞭解油質好壞對變速箱的影響,原廠技術手冊要求的是使用DEXRON-III的自動油
不久前取得ISUZU所有的原廠技術通報,包含召回的所有資料,其中有一份通報是針對4L30E變速油的規範,除了號數外還需要有一個級數認證,原來我在ISUZU保養廠10多年加的自動油是錯誤的....
這份通報到底是美國沒發來台灣,還是台灣收到沒通報各個維修廠這就不得而知了???

網路上滴一些資料如下:
SB99-01-S002
- Isuzu no longer recommends/requires periodic valve clearance inspections/adjustments with the "direct attack" motors (98-2k (and presumably beyond, but you'd have to verify that) Troopers and Rodeos) (previously, every what, 60k?) -- they're only warranted if you hear valve noise or are troubleshooting a rough idle condition.
- They also no longer recommend a timing belt interval of 75k miles for normal service. The new interval for normal is 100k for the 98 3.2l and 3.5l motors. They are "non-interference", so the consequence for a belt breaking is that your vehicle no longer has engine power, not that your engine powers through itself for lunch. Under severe service, 75k is still the recommendation.
AIPDN-PTS-SUV13-03
- 3.5l 6VE1 and 3.2l 6VD1 long blocks are now available from Isuzu. They cost dealers $2995, and MSRP is 5163.68. Part number is 8-97360-360-0. This is a fully assembled long block, including short block, cylinder heads, valve covers, oil pan, oil pump, timing belt covers, crank shaft pully, and water pump, and has 100% new components.
Misc:
- Intake manifold torque specification was revised from 18ft-lbs to 13ft-lbs for both the upper and lower manifold bolts. DO NOT OVERTORQUE, or your intake manifold gasket won't live as long as it should. Throttle body to intake manifold bolts should be torqued to 18ft-lbs, though.
SB01-05-S001
- Some ATX models have an improper finish on the pan surface, and the stock drain and overfill plugs might leak. New plugs were released to correct this condition, and come with an O-ring. Part number is 8-96041-810-0, and is a "kit" (I believe this means it includes a plug AND an O-ring, but not two plugs and two O-rings).
IB03-05-S001
- The correct fluid for 4L30E and 4L60E transmissions is Dexron III with a G-License number (G-34318), Isuzu part number 2-90531-815-0 or equivalent. Apparently, this "G-License designation" should be printed on the bottle somewhere. The bulletin notes that improper fluid can cause shift complaints and/or transmission damage.
SB02-11-S003
- The rear cup holder is a piece of s__t and may fail to stay closed or hold beverages in a variety of ways. This was not one of our finer pieces, and the engineer who designed it has been fired. Isuzu has filed criminal stupidity charges, and is seeking the death penalty.
IB02-14-S001
- Gunk can build up on an engine as part of the normal service course, and is not considered a repairable issue unless there is actual fluid loss, verifiable by fluid under the hood or on the road. Seepage happens. Leaks need to be fixed. Leaks can only be fixed under warranty IF THE VEHICLE IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY (apparently, Isuzu had some trouble with idiots in the service facilities).
